Q: Should I perform routine maintenance on my Sub-Zero?

A: Yes. For maximum performance, energy efficiency, and to get the best overall use from your Sub-Zero, you should perform maintenance every three months.

Q: What does routine maintenance entail?

A: You’ll want to make certain that no dust, pet hair, etc. builds up on the condenser. When performing your three month maintenance, carefully clean the condenser coils using a wire or refrigerator coil brush or a vacuum cleaner.

Q: Is there an ideal temperature setting for my Sub-Zero?

A: To protect your family from illness, it is important to keep your refrigerator at the right temperature. According to the Sub-Zero factory settings, the refrigerator should be set at 37 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

Q: Where are your service areas?

A: We service counties in both New Jersey and New York. In New York, our specialists serve Rockland and Westchester counties and all of Manhattan. If you live in Brooklyn and need your Sub-Zero repaired, arrangements can be made upon request. In New Jersey, our services are available throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Ocean, Somerset, and Sussex counties.

A: Setting up an appointment, or simply contacting us with questions, is easily accomplished by phone. Call our toll-free number at (800) 200-2306, or call the Certified Refrigeration office in your county to set up an appointment for one of our local technicians to come to your home.

Q: What do you charge to come out to my home? What does it cover?

A: When our professional technicians visit your home, there is a standard service charge. We assess this charge to cover our technician’s knowledge and time spent both traveling to you and diagnosing the problem. Our charges also cover the cost of gasoline.

Q: Is the standard service charge refundable?

A: No, the standard service charge is non-refundable.

Q: Do you provide a warranty with your Sub-Zero repairs?

A: Yes, we do. When we perform a repair, a one-year parts and labor guarantee is provided in most cases.

Q: What appliances do you repair other than Sub-Zero?

A: We repair Sub-Zero refrigeration appliances only.

Q: Can I purchase parts from you?

A: No. New factory parts are included as a part of the repair service that we provide and are not sold separately.

Q: Do you hold any special licenses or authorizations?

A: We are a company that is authorized and licensed to work on residential refrigeration. We are licensed by both the state of New Jersey and the state of New York. Additionally, we are also EPA authorized and licensed to perform repairs on home refrigerators.
